Dr. Helene Friedberg | Founder

Helene FriedbergDoctor Helene Friedberg holds a medical degree from Paris, France, and has been in private practice in Fort Lauderdale since 1992. Soon after she gave her life to Jesus Christ in 1999, severe medical problems forced her into a one year sabbatical. It is during that time that she felt called to the mission field as she was attending Calvary Chapel Ft Lauderdale. Within a few months, doors opened for her to do short-term medical work in a Haitian orphanage. Since then she has going to Haiti 2 to 3 times a year (Central and mostly NW Haiti). Burdened by the desperate need of isolated, hard-to-reach Northwest Haiti, she founded Haiti’s Hope in May 2005 with the collaboration of mission teammates, most of which attend Calvary Sawgrass.

Haiti’s Hope is a ministry of relief and development whose mission is to bring the Hope of Christ along with Food, Health care, Education and sustainable Economic development.
